Vintage Italian Alabaster 'Moon' Table Lamp, 1970's
This vintage Italian alabaster table (or floor) lamp, circa 1970, is rare because of its shape and thickness of 1/2". True alabaster lighting should be a minimum of 3/8" thick.
This light emits a wonderful soft glow through its translucent off-white body that has a unique veining. The light level can be adjusted with a dimmer located on the cord. This heavyweight lamp is large enough to be used as a floor lamp as well. Excellent condition with very little wear, if any.
No maker is noted other than "Italy" carved on the bottom. It takes a 120V E12 candelabra bulb and has a North American plug. The original wiring is in excellent shape and therefore left alone. We can rewire with UL listed wire if you prefer, at no cost.
